Promos can be hard hitting through to soft and sensual. She has a great range of characters and accents. She has her own purpose-built Sound Recording Studio with ISDN facilities and state of the art digital editing.
Jacky trained as an actress and has had a diverse career. Her credits range from the highly acclaimed television production of Jonathan Miller's 'The Beggar's Opera', presenting the children's television series 'Playdays', to a featured role in the influential Dutch director, George Sluizers disturbing film 'Crimetime'. She has worked extensively in the theatre touring England and abroad with shows such as 'The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole', 'The Merchant of Venice' and 'Blithe Spirit' and playing in the West End in 'Viva Francesca'.
She began her voice-over career whilst working with the BBC English World Service Radio Rep and now works in all areas of the voice-over industry. Her commercial clients include Talking Pages, IBM, Homebase, Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer and Disney. Corporate clients include Nat West Bank, Walkers Crisps, TNT, Scottish Power and Medicom. She regularly voices television and radio station promos for BBC2, Sky TV and Talk Sport. She has acted in many plays for BBC Schools Radio and presented the BBC Radio 5 programme 'Time and Tune'. She narrates on EFL projects for Linguaphone, Longmans and Oxford University Press and used to be heard voicing the "why, oh why…!!!" letters on BBC Television's 'Points of View'.
